Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children to Preview in Theatres
Recently, Square Enix revealed details about the upcoming movie, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. The company has announced that the movie will be featured in select Japanese theatres, before the release of the actual movie.
Unfortunately, you can only watch the movie in theatres by invitation, and the invitations are only given out to registered members of the “Shinra Company” fan club. The club is not accepting any new members at the moment. In case there are more members than viewers, the company will choose who will get to see the movie out of a pool.
The movie will only be featured in select theatres located in the major cities of Japan. The premiere screening is expected to take place on September 8th, and it will be located at Tokyo’s Virgin Toho Cinemas Roppongi Hills. Coincidentally, this is also the location where Square Enix first discussed Final Fantasy XII in late 2003.
After the first screening, the movie will be shown between September 10th and 16th at Virgin Toho Cinemas Roppongi Hills in Tokyo, Toho Cinemas Nagoya Bay City in Nagoya, and Toho Cinemas Nijou in Kyoto. The movie will play daily at 6:30 PM.
