Grandia III, still no US Release? Grandia III is still lacking an estimated release date outside of Japan. An early localised English version of the game does exist but both Square Enix and Game Arts are still assessing whether the game would be a good fit for the Western market. Grandia III, contrary to it's name, is actually the fifth instalment in the Grandia saga which has spawned games on the Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo GameBoy Colour, PC and Sony Playstation 2. The games haven't enjoyed a massive audience outside of Japan, so the likelihood of a release outside of Japan depends mostly on how well the game is recieved within Japan. However the game appears to be, judging from Japanese reviews and feedback, a solid instalment for the series so it should hopefully be only a matter of time before an 2006 US and EU release date is confirmed.
