Children of Mana Website Goes Live Square Enix recently added the Seiken Densetsu DS: Children of Mana mini-site to their Seiken Densetsu: The World of Mana website. Children of Mana is the latest addition to Square Enix's Seiken Densetsu franchise, which American and European gamers will better know as Legend of Mana and Sword of Mana. The game features three main characters; 15 year old Flick, 16 year old Tumble and 9 year old Pop. All three lost their parents and siblings in a fire, and after living together for some time they view each other as siblings. The game is set in the Island of Ilja which is better known as the Holy Island. At the center of the island lies the great Mana Tree. The game will tell the story of the Goddess of Mana, the Legendary Sword and the children assembled around the great Mana Tree. The character designer of Seiken Densetsu DS: Children of Mana is none other than Nao Ikeda, known for the character designs of Seiken Densetsu: Legend of Mana and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. The game's animation sequences are being conducted by the studio responsible for Ghost In The Shell: Innocece, Production I.G. Seiken Densetsu DS: Children of Mana is expected to be available in Japan this coming winter. A US release will probably follow in Quarter One of 2006.
