New Final Fantasy XI Dynamis Areas and Related Special Features
Square-Enix have now revealed new Dynamis Areas, special Battlefields which were designed specifically for Alliances of 64 players or less. First revealed in February 2004, the simultaneous display of characters on screen is limited due to memory restrictions on slower computers and the Playstation 2, which created fears that expansive battles would be to much of a processing burden.
As result, the development team developed Limbus which is for a maximum of 18 players to enter and battle as they which but this relatively straight forward and more experiences gamers who have participated in previous Dymanis Areas may find Limbus "lacking in excitement".
In order to appeal to more experienced gamers, 4 new Dymanis areas known as Valkurm, Buburimu, Qufim and Tavnazia however only Tavnazia will not be made public with the next version update.
New area's only mean new features, and Playonline have revealed these new features will include;
-- New story developments -- New items that can be used to improve relic armor -- New items available only in the new Dynamis areas -- Relic equipment and ancient currency that players could earn in previously released Dynamis areas will also be available in the new areas
These New Dynamis areas areas will allow 36 players to enter each area once every 3 days but to access these new areas both expansions, "Rise of the Zilart and Chains of Promathia must be installed.
