Children of Mana Elements and Summons Details Famitsu has revealed more information about the elements and summons system of Children of mana for the Nintendo DS. Like the previous Seiken Densetsu titles, eight elements of magic will be available. Players will be able to summon the spirits of each element to aid them in battle. Once a spirit has been summoned, players will be able to do one of two things; Wait a few seconds for the spirit to release a powerful magic attack, Run up to and touch the spirit for benefits such as regained HP or having that spirit’s element affinity on the character’s weapon. Players will only be able to take one of the eight spirits with them at a time, and will only be able to equip them in towns. The eight spirits are; Wind - Jinn Earth - Gnome Light - Will o' Wisp Water - Undine Moon - Luna Fire - Salamander Darkness - Shade Wood - Dryad Seiken Densetsu: Children of Mana will be available in Japan on February 23 for 5040 yen ($42). North America has yet to hear anything of a localization other than the "Children of Mana" trademark filing in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
