Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition Welcome to the first Editor's Choice news article. Rather than just focus on RPG games, this category will allow the news posters (namely me) to add 1 or 2 news stories about non RPG games than I like and first up is Devil May Cry 3. Due for a release on January 23rd, the Greatest Hits (Platinum to us non US'ers) version of the game will be cost $19.99 but what makes this version DMC3 special is that this new version will be an updated version of the game. This isn't a common occurance because most updated versions are released as $40 and these extra features are a great addition to the game. Play as Virgil and use his own style of fighting, controls and collect different weapons for him to use. Jester Boss fight. First an annoying clown, now a hard boss. Ability to increase the games speed by 20% New and Adjusted difficulty settings. New Contine System. New Movie Mode. Watch the cutscenes after you unlock them or view them as a movie. If you haven't played Devil May Cry 1 or 2 then you haven't missed much because Devil May Cry 3 is easily the best of the series and with all these extra features or $20, both fans of the series and newcomers should have a hard time resisting.
