Blind Gamer In Japanese Mortal Kombat Contest
I didn't want to post another Editor's Choice article so soon after the previous one, but this was to tempting to leave out.

Brice Mellen has been blind from birth due to Leber's disease but what you may find hard to believe is that he is a great MK player. On Sunday he took part in some training at DogTags Gaming Center in Lincoln Nebraska. He defeated all his opponents in under three minutes Power of Memory Part III on Nippon TV.

He knows when certain attacks are being directed at him thanks to the sound effects and has memorizing combos and chains to pull off different powerful attacks. According to his sister, he started with Super Mario Brothers on the NES but found his love with Mortal Kombat on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive.

Good Luck to this guy, i'll look forward to finding out how well he does.
