Namco Reveal New Tales of the Tempest Details Namco has revealed details about Tales of Tempest for the Ninendo DS including new characters and battle system information. Three new characters have been revealed; Tilkis Barone: Tilkis Barone is an 18 year old prince of a small kingdom. He goes on a journey to the Kingdom of Aleura to explain a mystery of natural disasters which have been occuring in his Kingdom. While travelling to Aleura's capital he meets protagonist Caius and Rubia, the games female lead. Forest Ledoyen: Forest is a member of the Likanz tribe. Although they have been persecutated, Forest and his tribe look somewhat frightening but they are nice people who have become loyal servants to the royal family of Tilkis. Arria Ekberg: Arria is a monk with the Church. She is a skilled magic user who has held back monsters that appeared near the capital all by herself. She has also questioned the persecuation of the Likanz tribe. Tales of the Tempest will offer a new system which is related to cooking. Players can collect recipes and ingredients whcih will be able to make food. Before food such as bread, meat, cheese, onions and salt can be turned into a meal, the ingredients have to be cut with a virtual knife which is operated via the touchscreen and stylus. For the food making to succeed, it will be necessary to move the stylus up and down on the touchscreen 10 times during a 10-second period. Tales of the Tempest will be released in Japan on April 13th and will retail for 4,800 yen ($42). Source: RPGfan
