More Uematsu at Play! Concerts Popular Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu will have music from his new Mistwalker game, Blue Dragon, played at this years Play! A Videogame Symphony Concert starting with Chicago. Blue Dragon is a X-Box 360 game created by Final Fantasy mastermind Hironobu Sakaguchi. Both Uematsu and Sakaguchi left Square-Enix recently to form their own companies and right away decided to team up and work together. This will be the third instance of music Uematsu has composed being used, the others include Final Fantasy music and a unique piece of music which will serve as the opening theme for each concert and can be heard on the offical site for the concerts (see source link below). Uematsu will also be appearing at the Chicago USA concert, the Sweden concert and will be doing meet and greets with VIP ticket holders. Tickets for the event are still available and go from $35 to $125. Amazingly Enough, out of the 6 concert dates the only one sold out is the Sweden event yet tickets for the Chicago concert are still available. Source: PLAY! Symphony Sometimes it really sucks living here, everywhere else gets the cool stuff. I definitely went to the US to soon. Uematsu is definitely worth paying £70 to see (and no, i'm not being paid to say this).
