Final Fantasy 3 DS E3 impressions and new images Final Fantasy 3 DS was properly shown for the first time at last week's annual E3 conference, with a demo on the show-room floor as well as a selection of new images. The E3 demo centred around early areas of the game - the game's first town (Ur) and it's surrounding fields were the only featured areas. Fans of Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy 12's art-style will feel right at home with FF3 DS - they all share Akihiko Yoshida as their character designer. Gameplay-wise the game's job system wasn't shown, the demo's party were all general characters that didn't have a job applied to them yet - they all had the same fire spell to protect themselves with and no individual attacks or abilities. Graphics were crisp and clear (as shown in the images below) and the title is already looking like a standout title for Nintendo's DS, which until now, hasn't been home to too many RPGs. Square-Enix is aiming for a September release for Final Fantasy 3 DS - this will also be the first time the title has been released outside of Japan. Sources: GameSpot and Game Daily
