New details on Dirge of Cerberus - Lost Mission Square-Enix have announced new details regarding Dirge of Cerberus - Lost Mission: Final Fantasy 7 after having successfully completed a deal to release the game with Amp'd Mobile for the first three months. Dirge of Cerberus - Lost Mission: Final Fantasy 7 will take place 3 years after Final Fantasy 7, which is the same timeframe that Dirge of Cerberus is set. Square announced that the game would be both single and multiplayer, however the multiplayer option of the game would not be available for some time. The game, although developed for mobile phones will use some gameplay elements from Dirge of Cerberus including First Person Shooter mode, Third Person Action/Adventure mode, Limit Breaks and even Materia.
