The creator of Final Fantasy releases his newest title! It's not Final Fantasy news, but it's something Final Fantasy fans will definitely be interested in - the father of Final Fantasy is back! When the creator of Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi, left Square-Enix to create his own company called MistWalker, Microsoft spared no expenses in getting the mastermind to work for them, including financial backing. The result was Microsoft getting an exclusive deal which got them the closest thing to Final Fantasy ever created, including a Uematsu soundtrack, and after two years the first MistWalker game has been released in Japan. The game is Blue Dragon, and although only released today, it had Japanese gamers queueing up and waiting overnight for the game, mostly in a bundle form with and Xbox 360. While Microsoft has never been too popular in Japan, it seems that interest in the latest game from Sakaguchi has increased popularity so much that people will buy the console for just one game. If this is any sign of things to come, one can hope that an international release will come soon (which knowing Microsoft will happen) as the game should be something very exciting for Xbox owners who enjoy Final Fantasy.
