New Ring of Fates information - December 16 New information from the recent scans of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Ring of Fates has been translated. Basically, as I gathered yesterday, the game is much more story-focused this time, centering around twins Yuri and Chierinka, and weaving a tale of immense sentimental value, supposedly tackling the issues of family and fraternal love. The game itself is rendered in complete 3D, with all battles being action-based like it's GameCube-predecessor. During battles the camera will zoom in and out depending on the level and lay of the land, and normal commands 'attack' and 'magic' are present, along with a new one - 'jump'. Currently all four races from the original GameCube title are present, but it isn't certain whether new races will feature or not. Expect the game to release in 2007 alongside it's Wii bretheren which we have heard so little of - The Crystal Bearers. Source: RPGamer.
