Anniversary Editions are a go!
Final Fantasy: Anniversary Edition has been officially dated, with its sequel not far behind!

Final Fantasy: Anniversary Edition will be releasing on PSP in Japan on April 19th, for 3800 yen ($31.50 US, around $40 AUD). Featuring SNES-style graphics and all the updates from the previous revision of Final Fantasy I, this is set to be the definitive version, released during Final Fantasy's 20th year!

As for Final Fantasy II: Anniversary Edition, its getting the same treatment as Annoversary Edition I, and is expected to be released for the same price late in May.

We'll let you know if we get any word on an English release.
