Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII discovers a release date Yep, everybody's favourite prequel is on its way to an actual release. First up to bat: Japan later this year. Crisis Core, at last check, was sitting pretty at 75% completion, with Nomura enthusiastic about the game releasing before the end of the year. Turns out he's delivering for once, because Square has officially announced that the PSP prequel will be releasing on August 2, 2007 in Japan. (Note the symbolism here? 2007, Final Fantasy 7; ten years after the original's release; seven years before the original game.) Anyway there is still no word on an official US release, but we can expect it before the end of the year. Also look foward to a list of English voice actors around the time of the Japanese release.
