Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings is released! Months of waiting has just ended for Japanese Final Fantasy fans! The sequel to the recent PS2 swan song is here! Yes that's right folks, Japan was just treated to Final Fantasy 12: Revenant Wings on their DSs, and the game has been received well by critics and fans alike! Developing upon the rich history of Final Fantasy 12, Revenant Wings takes place about a year after the original title, expanding on characters (and relationships) of the original, as well as delving into a new plotline focusing around new characters and species. Still no word on an English release for the game, but expect it announced very soon! Coincidentally, word has gone around that a new sequel is already in the works, a complete sequel if you will. The secret ending of Revenant Wings will give fans a good idea of events that will take place in the next Final Fantasy 12 sequel, which will be much more major than Revenant Wings.
