(E3 Trailer) Final Fantasy XII International - Zodiac Job System
Just moments after our FF13 reminder, we give you a glimpse of the new Final Fantasy 12 International!
The trailer pretty much speaks for itself - the game is, as with all other International FF titles, a Japan exclusive at the moment, and its most prominent change is the fact that it uses the English dub now. Two characters that were previously NPCs are now fully-fledged party members: Larsa and Vossler join the party in completeness, with full customisation abilities.
Speaking of customisations, the job system has been completely revamped to a new 'Zodiac' system - each character now has separate sections of the job system, represented by each part of the zodiac mythos.
As for other extras, there's nothing else majorly different. Espers are now all controllable by the player, and pressing L1 will activate a 'double speed mode' for those who think the game is just a little on the slow side. There's also the new 'Trial Mode' which will be like a survival kind of game facing off against monsters on a hundred different maps; and another mode of play has yet to be announced.
The game will be released in Japan on August 9th, 2007. It is highly unlikely the title will see a release outside of Japan, but we'll keep you updated.
