Chocobo's Dungeon: Toki-Wasure no Meikyuu!
Yep, looks like Nintendo's getting all the Crystal Chronicles and Chocobo games... really generous, Square...
On the topic of this new title though, those who enjoyed the recent Chocobo Tales on DS will probably enjoy the interaction with this title, and fans of the old Chocobo Dungeon will have a blast.
The newest title in the series, Toki-Wasure no Meikyuu (apparently The Labyrinth of Forgotten Time) centres around Chocobo and Cid entering the City of Forgotten Time and helping a young boy named Raphael find the inhabitants' lost memories.
The game will feature a job system (inclusive of around ten jobs) and the old random-generated dungeons will be back - the new implementations come in the form of the Wiimote interactions. The Nun-Chuk add-on isn't required for this game - it's just straight-up Wiimote love!
The title, Square's newest action-RPG, will be heading to Nintendo's Wii in time for a Christmas 2007 release, and celebrates the 10th anniversary of the original Chocobo's Dungeon on PS1. No word yet on an American release. And, on a personal note, may I just point out that the soundtrack sounds amazing! :)
