EGM/1UP give out their Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII review
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 has been a title with large shoes to fill - now EGM has revealed the first Western impressions of the game!
Fans of the original Final Fantasy 7 have been eagerly anticipating this title for months now, but its difficult to deny that they have also had their reservations. With the history of the Compilation of FF7 (particularly Dirge of Cerberus), fans have had good reason to be sceptical about the quality of a PlayStation Portable exclusive entry.
Well, the wait is finally over, as EGM have revealed their official scores for the game - the panel of three reviewers gave the game a B+, a B+ and an A-. Not too bad! Much better than Dirge of Cerberus, at least...
In related news, EGM have also revealed their scores for the newly translated English title, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Ring of Fates, for Nintendo's DS. The title has scored rather mediocrely, with a B-, a B- and an A.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 will be releasing across North America for Sony's PSP on March 25th. Similarly, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Ring of Fates will be releasing in the same territory on March 11th for Nintendo's DS.
