Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Ring of Fates available now
The newest entry into the Crystal Chronicle spin-off franchise is now officially available in stores for Nintendo DS.

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Ring of Fates for the Nintendo DS is available in stores across North America as of March 11th, 2008.

The game is the first title of Square-Enix's to use new anti-piracy technology developed for the DS - those players that are using a fake version of the game, or playing on an illegal third-party flash card will see the words "Thankyou for playing" appear on screen after 20 minutes gameplay, effectively turning the title into a demo.

Square-Enix plans to use this technology on future DS titles, and will most likely outsource it to many other companies.
