Final Fantasy Agito XIII shifts consoles?
We're unsure whether this is a complete console move at the moment, or just a port, but something's definitely happening.
Square-Enix have revealed that Final Fantasy Agito 13, originally planned as a mobile phone exclusive, will be releasing on Sony's PSP now. This follows recent comments by Square that mobile phone-exclusive titles aren't exactly good for their budget, and a simultaneous move of another upcoming title, The 3rd Birthday from mobile to PSP.
Surprisingly, this is all happening at the same time as Final Fantasy 4: The After, a mobile phone exclusive, reaching a massive one million downloads. At this point it is uncertain whether the console transition for Agito was purely a financial move, or whether the game's high system requirements ended up acting as the catalyst.
