Development shots from Final Fantasy XIII
Square have seen fit to release three production shots of their new engine, Crystal Tools, in action!

To show the power of the engine, they have utilised one of the new Final Fantasy 13 characters (the pigtailed-girl with red hair) and have altered the light sources and camera angles in the area. Other than that, nothing substantially new here.

As you all know, there's no official release date at this point for Final Fantasy 13, but we do know that it should be in 2009. Expect to see a demo in March next year.
