Final Fantasy XIII is delayed
Honestly, it was inevitable. English-speaking fans are probably used to this now, so don't be too surprised when you read this.

Square-Enix have confirmed that Final Fantasy 13 will only be releasing in Japan during 2009. The English version of the game has not even been started at this point, and they will begin localizing once the Japanese version is completed. At this time they will also start the Xbox 360 port project.

Corporate president Yoichi Wada confirmed the details: Final Fantasy 13 will not be released in English-speaking territories until sometime after April 2010.
