We haven't heard anything about this Wii-exclusive in a while, yet it seems development has quietly continued at Square.
Not really much else to say. Last we heard here the game had been cancelled and that the director was meant to make 'an official announcement soon'. That was about a year or more ago. Suddenly the game has resurfaced and seems to be nearing completion.
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - The Crystal Bearers is exclusive to Nintendo's Wii console; its release date is still unknown.
