Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII - International Although not a very important announcement, Square has revealed that Japan will receive an 'International' version of Dirge of Cerberus.
The game will be releasing across Japan on September 4, 2008, for anyone living there that's interested. It includes many of the improved features that were added to the North American version before it was released. Additionally, the English voice acting is used instead of the original Japanese.
This comes more than two years after the game's original Japanese release on Sony's PlayStation 2, so its surely a strange time to try and release this. Keep watching this space.

New Dirge of Cerberus images - August Once again, GameSpot has released new images of Dirge of Cerberus in the lead-up to the North American release.
The pictures don't show anything too special except, of course, the token FMV showing of Cloud, simply to add more hype to the game. The other two images simply show some in-game action.

Once again, those who have played the Japanese version will be familiar with most of these scenarios, but for newcomers they provide good teasers. Amongst these images are shots from a boss fight with Azul, some specific types of Deep Ground conversations, English conversations with Reeve and Rosso, and of course, Vincent's transformation.

New Dirge of Cerberus English footage GameTrailers is hosting a new videoclip of Dirge of Cerberus gameplay - this time though, from the official English version.
You can check out the video here.
Basically the video shows some of the earlier areas of the game (probably from an English demo running over at Comic-Con) in which we see a shootout in a laboratory area, Vincent battling with a circle of bike riders in a barren area and a boss fight in the town of Kalm.
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy 7 will be released in North America on the 15th of August.
