Dirge of Cerberus goes PAL today! Yep, just a couple of days after Final Fantasy 3, Dirge of Cerberus has hit PAL markets with a bang!
The continuation of Advent Children, Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy 7 chronicles the events following the destruction of Midgar - 'they say every night, screams can be heard from the depths of Midgar...'
Now it's up to Vincent, Yuffie and the rest of the gang to find out what the secrets of Midgar are, and stop the coveted Deep Ground Soldiers from extracting their revenge upon the world.
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy 7 is available now throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia on PlayStation 2.
Dirge of Cerberus PAL release on 17th It has just come to our attention that Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy 7 will be seeing the light of day in PAL territories in two days.
The game was released in America in August, and after just over two months of waiting, is prepped and ready for a European and Australian release. Anyone interested in continuing the Final Fantasy 7 storyline should definitely check this one out!

Dirge of Cerberus - Lost Episode released Well it seems a lot of us missed this, but the mobile phone game Dirge of Cerberus - Lost Episode: Final Fantasy 7 has been released.
Set during the original version of Dirge of Cerberus on the PS2, Vincent explores ShinRa Mansion in the hopes of learning more about his past and the mysterious Protomateria.
The game is available in the US but is limited to Amp'd mobile phones. More infomation about the game, such as screenshots and how to download the game can be found at the Square-Enix Mobile site from the link below.
The "Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy 7 - Multiplayer Mode Original Sound Collections" is available for 1500 yen ($12.85) and was composed by Masashi Hamauzu, who also composed the game's original soundtrack.
Dirge of Cerberus released in the US Well the wait is finally over for those of you in the US - Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy 7 has hit stores in America today.
Make sure you pick up a copy when you get the chance, even though the game has been getten mixed reviews it's still an intriguing and original story, and will tide you FF fanatics over until 12's release in October.
New Dirge of Cerberus images - August Once again, GameSpot has released new images of Dirge of Cerberus in the lead-up to the North American release.
The pictures don't show anything too special except, of course, the token FMV showing of Cloud, simply to add more hype to the game. The other two images simply show some in-game action.
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy 7 is set to release on the 15th of August in North America for the PS2. There is still no word on a European release.
New English images of Dirge of Cerberus As Dirge of Cerberus draws closer to it's official US release, more English-language images of the game have been released to the public.
Once again, those who have played the Japanese version will be familiar with most of these scenarios, but for newcomers they provide good teasers. Amongst these images are shots from a boss fight with Azul, some specific types of Deep Ground conversations, English conversations with Reeve and Rosso, and of course, Vincent's transformation.

A features list which reveals there will be an exclusive extra 40 special missions, plus a new hard mode.
There are English clips in the character profiles which reveal Steve Blum (aka Steven Jay Blum) to be returning as the voice of Vincent, plus voices for the other main characters.
Also revealed is story information, but just enough not to spoil the game for you.
New Dirge of Cerberus English footage GameTrailers is hosting a new videoclip of Dirge of Cerberus gameplay - this time though, from the official English version.
Basically the video shows some of the earlier areas of the game (probably from an English demo running over at Comic-Con) in which we see a shootout in a laboratory area, Vincent battling with a circle of bike riders in a barren area and a boss fight in the town of Kalm.
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy 7 will be released in North America on the 15th of August.
According to the official ESRB announcement, the reason was 'Violence, Mild Language and Tobacco References'. Not that this makes too much of a difference, but it does mean that the game is very close to it's English release.
Also Dirge will be shown from tomorrow onwards at the San Diego Comic-Con, where some trailers will be shown as well as 'Lost Episode' for mobiles.
