Additionally, these next two will be coming in June.
Library (your people can memorise abilities specific to their race) - 200 Points
Tower of Eternity (another new dungeon, this one holding a treasure!) - 300 Points
Unfortunately, these are exclusive to the Japanese version at the moment, but once the game is released in America and rest of the Western gaming world, this will give us a good idea of what to expect!
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - My Life as a King will be releasing on the North American WiiWare on the 12th of May, 2008. Further English releases are sure to follow.
What will this content consist of? At this time, Square were unclear - they will come of various sizes, and will be priced between 100-300 Wii Points.
And that's all we know.
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - My Life as a King was released several days ago in Japan. The title is coming to the West sometime soon this year. Expect details about this content to be finalised then.
As we've reported prior to this, the game is exclusively available through Nintendo's WiiWare initiative, and will be available from March 25th onwards. The game will available for 1500 yen, the most expensive price-range for WiiWare titles.
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Ring of Fates for the Nintendo DS is available in stores across North America as of March 11th, 2008.
The game is the first title of Square-Enix's to use new anti-piracy technology developed for the DS - those players that are using a fake version of the game, or playing on an illegal third-party flash card will see the words "Thankyou for playing" appear on screen after 20 minutes gameplay, effectively turning the title into a demo.
Square-Enix plans to use this technology on future DS titles, and will most likely outsource it to many other companies.
Square is doing their best in advertising this strange little piece of software, and the advertising campaign is working quite well I'd say! Another great looking trailer for what will undoubtedly become one of Square's biggest hits in the coming months.
Really not much to say here - looks like some previous English trailers in Japanese-form, showing off more of the house building mechanics.
There is currently no confirmed release date for Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - My Life as a King on the North American WiiWare system, but the WiiWare Channel itself launched May 12, so expect it sometime around then.
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - The Crystal Bearers from director Mitsuru Kamiyama, has been a schedueled Wii release for about a year now, and yet after the first trailer was released, no information has been disclosed. With the recent influx of information for My Life as a King, many fans and analysts believed that The Crystal Bearers had been altogether cancelled, but this is not the case!
Development for both Ring of Fates and The Crysal Bearers are proceeding smoothly!! says Kamiyama on his blog, ending past rumours of the title's release-status.
We'll keep you updated from here on in with any new information on the fully-fledged Wii adventure Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - The Crystal Bearers.
That step is, of course, its English release. The localisation has been underway for many months now, and at last it is nearing completion, with the North American release just over a week away. Take a look at the game's final pre-release trailer:
The game is looking markedly better since our initial viewing of it, and could definitely turn out to be a sleeper-hit for the DS.

The cover will probably look familiar to many viewers - in actual fact, it's simply the original JP cover re-coloured so that the background is black instead of pink. Also, notice that he stained glass window actually projects onto the 'floor' of the image, a very classy effect!
As if that wasn't enough, have a look at this great looking artwork - top quality promotion for what is shaping up to be an interesting title!
Other than this, I'm afraid DS-owning fans of the original series are going to have to wait it out now: for American players, you'll enter the world of Ring of Fates on March 11th, 2008, for Europeans, March 14th, and Australians can expect the title sometime in March.
