Zelda Web needs you! We here at FF Insider are proud to present to you ZELDA WEB, a new project led by JC - here's what he had to say:
"This is JC, former Assistant Content Manager of The Hylia and webmaster of PSLOZ.com. I’ve come before you all today to request your varied and talented services for a brand new Zelda project.
Recently, a new website called Zelda Web has begun production and I’ve been hired to be the webmaster for it. Now, Rey wants to extend the FFI network to include what we hope to be the best Zelda site on the web. However, we need your help, fans.
This project is currently in production and Zelda Web is in need of staff. Rey and I are sure that there people who are eager to work on something new and exciting. What Zelda Web is looking for is honest, passionate, hard-working people that are willing to be dedicated to a website. If you want to work with us, we’ll gladly settle something to suit you and your commitments, so you can give Zelda Web your best work. What we are looking for is:
1) Content Staff: What you will basically be doing is adding up content to the site and formatting it, keeping it presentable.
2) Media Staff: Whoever is on the staff will be allocating resources for Zelda Web, including screen shots, videos, artwork, things of that nature.
3) Writers: Basically, the writers will be writing the content for the website alongside me. There are some additional perks to being a writer for Zelda Web, since you will also get your own blog on the website that is yours to do with as you please within human reason. Also, we are accepting writers for editorials and other additional ideas.
4) Forum staff: Currently, nothing major, but if you're interested in becoming community manager please enquire.
5) News Staff: I want news to be a huge part of Zelda Web. Therefore, I am looking to hire anyone with a passion for news. Putting this on a resume when applying for a news reporting job would be a huge plus.
At Zelda Web, we do have some minimal requirements for applicants. You must be 16 years or older to apply and must have some experience with working on websites. If you’re looking to work with content, you need to have some experience with HTML, image alignment and text formatting. This also goes for someone looking to be in the Media Staff.
For writers, you need to have a good, solid knowledge of the Zelda universe, as you will be writing a lot of facts and possibly editorials.
Now, the application process is simple. Basically, you can instant message me on AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) and my screen name is FusionEvolution7. Also, you can e-mail me at vmjc48 (@) gmail (dot) com or JC48tiny (@) msn (dot) com. (And add me on MSN Messenger).
If you decide to e-mail me, please include your name, the position you’re requesting, why you want the position, your prior online work experiences and, if required, some examples of your work."
Happy New Year 2008! Looks like its time to celebrate again already - we've crossed over from Christmas into New Year's, and the party's just begun!
So, as usual, we here at Final Fantasy Insider would like to wish you a very safe and prosperous 2008!
This year will see some major Final Fantasy releases from Square, most notably Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII in North America on March 25th. Stick with us here for all your Final Fantasy needs!
Once again, have a Happy New Year! The Final Fantasy Insider Staff
We here at Final Fantasy Insider would just like to wish you a safe and happy Christmas! Don't worry, we'll be back before the end of the year with a couple more articles, but until then, enjoy your holidays!
Hopefully we'll see you again this time next year! Best wishes, The Final Fantasy Insider Staff
That's right folks, we're on the lookout for a brand new webmaster to join our project team! KINGDOM HEARTS GLOBE has been in development for almost a year now, and after the tragic loss of our former webmaster-to-be, Ash Barnes, we now have to accept that we will need a new webmaster!
This job will require quite a lot of dedication - prepare to give up some of your free time. The project has been designed from the ground up to look professional, so it would be a great addition to any portfolio, serious or otherwise.
Extensive knowledge in the general field of websites is definitely a demand, as is quite considerable HTML coding skills. The skins and major design work have been done, now we need you to bring the project home and maintain it through its long lifespan to the best of your abilities - with multiple new titles in the videogame series being announced in September, there's lots of coverage in store.
A sample will be required, so prepare what you consider a good work (whether literally online or simply online-ready) and link to it in your application.
Merry Christmas Everyone! Just want to say Merry Christmas to all of the visitors ^^. I am sorry for not being active enough in updating the site with new content and media. That will change once I got enough of DotA (Warcraft 3 Custom Map that I am playing now). Oh, and I am in Indonesia right now, enjoying my long holiday (3 months) with my parents and siblings, so don't expect me to make big update these months as the internet connection here is extremely crap.
That's about it, enjoy your holiday guys! :)

Final Fantasy Insider Version 7! Finally, the layout is changed to something dark. Like what you're looking at? Looks like the majority of you finally get what you want... a dark layout!
The main reason for the layout change is because I have been receiving various emails regarding the old dark layout that we used to have (Version 4), so I decided to change the design to something that is similar to our old dark layout, but with various touch-ups to give it a fresh look.
I am very sure that you will be finding errors here and there as you are browsing our content. And if you do find an error, please send me a message using the contact form with its URL, I will try my best to fix it as soon as possible.
So basically, both the Final Fantasy XIII and Kingdom Hearts 3 sites have been created by me yesterday. The layout, news system and pretty much everything has been completed. The reason for this article is that I am looking for capable people to be the webmasters of both sites (1 person will handle 1 site). So in total, I will need 2 capable people to manage the two sites.
If you're interested in becoming a webmaster, please notice that you need to have the following quality:
- Good English writing skill - Dedication - Interest in the game that you are going to cover
Interest in the game for the site you are applying for is very important, as that will ensure the site to contain fresh content and news articles at all times. HTML is not required, I will teach you everything myself when you're accepted. Please note that once you are accepted, you will be the webmaster of the site you are applying for, meaning I will only help you when you have problems with the site. Other than that, the site will be fully run by you (that is why dedication is listed above, you can't just leave the site when you feel like it).
Ready to apply? Send me an email at rey2k5@gmail.com with the following information (just copy and paste the template into your email client).
First Name: Last Name: Email: MSN / AIM contact: Interested in running: Kingdom Hearts 3 Experience in webmastering field: Why should I be choosen for this project?:
That's about it, I will be waiting for your emails peeps.
PS: Both sites will be fully backed and supported by Final Fantasy Insider, so expect them to be extremely big in no time. =P
Note: Final Fantasy XIII site position is filled, the only empty spot is the Kingdom Hearts 3 site now.

Forums Are Back Online Well we are back, after 1 month. The forums went back online last night around 12am UK time.
Visitors and members may notice we are still lacking a few things like a new skin and some of the previous hacks (like the arcade) but the forum is fully functional so feel free to visit, join and post. If you have any suggestions, feel free to posting them in the suggestion forum.

Forums Restart Initiated Last week we took a poll and we have over 400 votes in just 6 days. Over 300 of these votes were for a complete restart while less than 100 (98 as I write this) voted for waiting longer.
At the moment FFI's coder Ariel has begun preparing the forum and it should hopefully be open to members and guests within a few days. We are sorry for any inconvenience this delay has caused and we hope to see you all back on the forums very soon.

Final Fantasy Insider Forums Situation - 25/1/06 As guests and members may have noticed, the Final Fantasy Insider forums have been down for an extended period of time and we've got some news about the situation for you.
Our attempts to acquire a recent backup for the forum database has unfortunately failed and as a result this means the forum will need to be restarted from the begining. All accounts, threads, posts, post counts, repuation points, Arcade and games will all be gone.
Currently this decision is not final. We are giving you the chance to decide if we should restart the forums or just keep on waiting for a backup to hopefully surface. In the end, there is a chance that delaying may or may not pay off and it should be known that even if we wait, a reset could still happen because there would be no other choice as it has been almost 1 month since the forums went offline.
A poll has been created on the site so you can vote to reset or wait.
