So, rater, we decided to issue you with a reminder - tomorrow, as in October 25, will see the Japanese release of the long-awaited DS sequel Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Fuuketsu no Grimoire! Fans who have been eagerly awaiting whether Marche and co. will have some impact on the story, or any at all for that matter, have only to wait until tomorrow's reports begin to leak out.
The game's primary focus though is to centre around a new cast that find a book which transports them to the magical world of Ivalice... a familiar tale? The cast, led by newbie Lusso, will then have a series of trials and dramas to overcome in a similar fashion to the original GBA smash-hit.

The new images show of a couple of new characters, some new locations, maps and the like - everything we expected really. In fact, the only thing we're still unsure about when it comes to this title is the connection(s) to its predecessor - will Marche and friends re-appear in some form, or have they been long forgotten? Only time will tell...
In related news, Square just recently confirmed that fan-favourites Vaan and Penelo from Final Fantasy 12 and its spin-off sequel, Revenant Wings, will indeed be making guest appearances in this title (think Cloud in FF Tactics, or Balthier in The War of the Lions). Look out for more on this soon as the game's October 25th Japanese release draws closer.
