The game is currently only available in Japan, and has been on shelves since April, yet in this short time with such a small area of influence, Motomu Toriyama's DS title Final Fantasy 12: Revenant Wings has sold a staggering 520,000 units!
On a similar topic, Square also mentioned that the PSP title Final Fantasy Tactics: Shishi Sensou has sold a huge 310,000 units since its release - a great amount for what is essentially a re-release.
Keep your eyes on Final Fantasy Insider in the coming months - these huge titles are on the way to their US releases, with Shishi Sensou releasing here as Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions on October 9 and Final Fantasy 12: Revenant Wings will be released on November 20 - both titles are part of the Ivalice Alliance campaign.
Written AND Directed by notoriously shoddy Motomu Toriyama, Final Fantasy 12: Revenant Wings was released on the 26th of April this year in Japan to generally mediocre reviews.
The game is now well on its way to the US, and as the trailer shows, the translations are coming along well. The game will be released on DS to North American shores on the 20th of November.
