Items: 136,000 Gil
Equipment: Masamune, Sasuke, Protect Ring, Protect Cloak
The southwest staircase leads to B1, while the southeast one leads to 2F.
There's nothing in the basement so continue on up. At the next screen, just
walk east up to 3F. From here, head down past a couple of rooms, go east,
then north into the chamber. Pick up the 2 treasures for a total of
"110,000 Gil". Use the "LUTE" (key item) in front of the stone tablet, to
reveal a flight of stairs.
In this floor, head south, left, then north down the stairs to 1F. Continue
to the far west side of the area, down another staircase to B1. Make your
way to the ladder at the east side. You'll battle Lich again before you can
proceed.
You'll be at B2 now. Take the path left then up through a door. Head east
along the bottom wall into another door. Head south first before going down
the ladder. The left room at the end of the hall contains a "PROTECT RING"
& "SASUKE". The righr room has "26,000 Gil" & "PROTECT CLOAK". Go back to
the ladder and defeat Marilith to move on.
Alright on to B3. Take the west door, follow the path until you get to
choose between 2 doors. Go through the right one and keep going. Once you
reach a chamber with 3 doors, pick the the one in the middle. Continue
southwest towards the staircase. Defeat Kraken to continue on.
In this area, head south first along the left wall, then head right to
get hold of the "MASAMUNE". Go back to the starting point. Proceed down
a bit, go east and you'll eventually run into Tiamat. Defeat it to proceed.
After that, continue on down the ladder to B5. Save and go into the room
here for your final boss fight.
Final Boss: Chaos
HP: 4000 | EXP: 0 | Gil: 0
It is to be expected that this guy hits hard. So start out by casting Blink
and Shield 2 on your party. Followed by Steel & Haste on your fighters.
Chaos has several "attack-all" elemental spells, so using NulAll to reduce
damage from those is a good idea too. Also, take note that he also has Cure
4, which restores far beyond his total HP. Making this battle so much more
annoying than it already is.
Just have your fighters hit him with all they got, while the magicians cast
support spells when needed. Slow seemd to work on this boss as well. Good
luck!
