Final Fantasy 1 Ice Cavern

Equipment: Flame Sword, Shirt, Ice Armor, Mythril Gloves, Ice Shield

Just keep following the path for 2 screens, to get all the way down to B3. There, head up the stairs and you'll emerge at a different section of B2. Go around the path into the door. Avoid the cracks in here, and pick up the "FLAME SWORD", along with a "SHIRT" from the treasure chests. Step on a crack to drop to the lower floor.

In this floor, head west into a room with an "ICE ARMOR" & "MYTHRIL GLOVES". Stepping on the icicles here will take a single HP from your entire party, so keep an eye out for that. Go back to the entrance, take the left path south into the room with 6 treasures -- 9,900 Gil, 5,000 Gil, 12,350 Gil, 7,900 Gil, 5,454 Gil, 180 Gil. Backtrack to the split, proceed down to the right side path up the stairs to the next area.

You'll find treasures in all the rooms here containing a total of "19,300 Gil", "POTION", "SLEEPING BAG" & "ICE SHIELD". Drop through the crack here, examine the Levistone.

You'll be confronted with an Evil Eye, which in my opinion has so little HP to be considered a boss. Make quick work of it using the Flame Sword, with a bit of help from a Fire spell. Pick up the "LEVISTONE", which gives you the airship later. Retrace your path back out to the world map.

As always, return to Crescent Lake, rest and save. Your next destination is the desert not far south across the river from Crescent Lake. So hop onto the canoe and paddle southwest. Walk towards the center of the desert then use the Levistone. You'll receive the Airship afterwards.
