Final Fantasy XI / 11 / FF11

There are 3 main areas in Vana'diel in relation to the countries in Final Fantasy XI. These areas are where you will be moving around when you are playing Final Fantasy XI.

Main Areas

Gustaburg
A desert area that surrounds The Republic of Bastok. Green less land with dried woods and rocky mountains. There is a cave in the northern part which is abundant in minerals.

Ronfaure
A huge forest area which is filled with myth and forest vegetation. Located near The Kingdom of San D'oria.

Sarutabaruta
Located North from The Federation of Windurst. It is a huge green plain area which unique vegetation and various monsters lives.

Other Areas

Bastok Market
The centre of Bastok's economic growth is called the "Business Area". Made on top of reclaimed land which various shops are open to sell goods, you are able to get all your basic needs in this place. Unlike the mining area, almost no Galka's has been seen around the area.

Bastok Metalworks
Bastok is also known as the Atelier Nation where there is a area called "Large Atelier" at the centre of Bastok. In the Atelier, various craftsmen from the Guild will manufacture many products everyday. It is also the location of The House of Presidency where the President or the Top Politician of Bastok works at.

North San D'oria
Location of Drageu Castle and The Great Saint Hall which is one of the most important buildings in San D'oria as they receives the King and the Popes. North San D'oria is also a place where embassy of other countries stand. It is a very strategic point in San D'oria. Many guild and adventures from around the world gathers here as well.

Windurst Waters
The "Area of Water" in the Magical World of Windurst is the most active place for business in the country. True to its name, various shop, restaurant and Magic Library is situated here around the water. In addition, there is also a Biological Laboratory situated at the edge of this area where various researchers work from day to night...but.....?
