Final Fantasy VII Walkthrough – Mideel
Items: Contain Materia, Elixir
When you go into Mideel you can stock up on items and there are some Crystal weapons here. When you're ready pet the dog in the centre of town, as you do so you'll hear a conversation about a spiky haired man who washed up on shore, and that he's in hospital. Enter the clinic and you'll see him lolling in a wheelchair. Apparently he's suffered Mako poisoning and when you talk to him he'll mumble things like "what.... number.... am I?"
Tifa says she wants to stay with Cloud now. Go back to the airship, when you enter Cait Sith will give you information on the Shinra; he says that they need to collect Huge Materia, for a new cannon. This is cannon has been moved from Junon to Midgar and the Huge Materia they need for it is Stationed at Three different mako reactors, North Corel
Tifa will volunteer to stay here with Cloud for the time being. When done shopping in Mideel, head back to the airship. As you enter it Cait Sith will give you inside information on the Shinra. He says that they plan to collect several special materia called Huge Materia to combine for their huge cannon at Midgar. He suggests that you head to the North Corel Reactor, Fort Condor and the Underwater Reactor at Junon. Go to North Corel first. You'll elect Cid as temporary leader so before you set off form a party of your strongest members and equip them with powerful materia.
