Final Fantasy VII Walkthrough – Battle at Fort Condor

Items: Phoenix Summon Materia (for winning).
Go into Fort Condor and talk to the man stationed outside, talk to all the people inside and head up to the top level where the man will inform you about all the troops etc. Now you'll need to station troops, I suggest putting defenders right near to the line so you can place them in combat as soon as the enemy arrives, station some attackers at the very top for last resort defences. Place some catapults and Stone Throwers in the gaps between the stone, its also wise to place a repairer there in case they fail.

Place some Shooters behind the catapults and you should be all right, if you leave the last resort defences and use the shooters and defenders for the immediate enemy you'll be fine because you can add more troops anyway. This is fairly easy to be honest but it can be quiet fun. You'll see the Condors egg hatching and you'll receive Phoenix Summons Materia.

The man down the ladder will give you the Huge Materia, it turns out he removed it ages ago and just wanted you to protect the Condors. After this battle Cid says that you should go to Mideel. Equip your powerful summons and Ultima.
