Final Fantasy VII Walkthrough – Back at Mideel

Items: None in this section
When you arrive, go into the Clinic. You'll see that Cloud's still in a coma. There'll be an earthquake and when the party runs outside you'll see Ultimate Weapon and you'll have to fight it.

Boss: Ultimate Weapon
Use Wall/ M-Barrier at the start of this battle, his spells can zap your party 1600hp or more. Luckily for you this will make your limit bars fill up like crazy, unleash these along with Ultima, Comet 2 and your Bahamuts and you should be fine. Bear in mind that you don't have to kill this weapon because it will flees so keep yourself healed to last for the duration of the fight.

Ultimate weapon will leave, destroying Mideel in its wake. The lifestream will flow up through the earth and Tifa and Cloud will fall into it trying to escape. When you wake up you will be controlling Tifa again and you'll be in a dark area, eventually you'll be in a place with three Clouds and a sort of blurry Cloud floating up ahead suffering head trauma again.

Go to the northern Cloud and you'll see a memory. Generally just follow the sequences because they are linear but long. I wont explain what happens in each because I don't want to spoil it for you, but you'll find out the truth about Cloud and his Shinra past. Eventually Cloud will snap out of the coma and get himself together. I like this area because it's satisfying if a little long. After this you'll need to collect the other huge materia so go to Junon.
