Final Fantasy VII Walkthrough – Descent into the Northern Crater
Items: Two Elixir's, Two Speed Sources, Tetra Elemental, Two Megalixers, Luck Source, Two Turbo Ethers, Hero Medicine, Two X-Potion's, Two Vaccine's, Remedy, Magic Source, Mystile, Imperial Guard, Mega-All Materia, Shield Materia, Counter Materia, W-Magic Materia.
When you insert this Disc you'll all be in the Highwind, if you go outside the Highwind you're at the Crater. However before you attempt this I urge you to do some training, get everybody's ultimate Limit breaks (especially Clouds) if you haven't got them and Ultimate weapons e.c.t. If you try to beat Emerald and Ruby weapon and fail there's a small chance you'll be able to do this. When you can defeat those two you should be able to cope with what's coming.
There's no actual seven-day time limit so take as long as you need to get yourself prepared. When you're ready head down the Crater, prepare yourself for the worst boss, which means all defensive magic and most powerful summons and magic. When you get down there'll be two paths, the right route, which is shorter and easier and the left route, which is longer, however you get a lot of items, most of them are useful. Go down the cliff; participate in as many battles as possible as these will give you exp. As it is essential to gain as many levels as possible in this area
At the swamps gain levels again. When you enter one area of the dwelling place the team will decide to split into two. Take your best characters with Cloud. Once you reach the bottom of the cave, talk to everyone and they'll give you items they found. Also I hop you got the Save Crystal from the first chest because if you haven't you wont be able to save here, therefore if you die you'll have to go through all this again. If you have the Save Crystal place it here. Save and Tent yourself and head into the centre here you'll fight Jenova.
