Final Fantasy VIII Walkthrough – The Forest Owls
Once on the train Zone will tell you to fetch the princess, so go up the stairs and save at the save point then continue up the corridor into the last room where you'll meet the princess. You'll talk and eventually she'll tell you her name so either choose one or stick with Rinoa. Once you've done this she also explain to you about Angelo's part in her limit break. Now head back to Zone (saving along the way) and follow the cut-scene into the mission explanation.
Rinoa will show you a model train set to explain the mission, which goes like this:
-Jump from dummy care onto the roof of the 2nd escort
-Proceed carefully across the roof to evade sensors
-Walk to president's car
-Uncouple the first escort
-Dummy car and base move into position
-Uncouple 2nd escort
-Escape
Rinoa will explain every part of the mission carefully to you so be sure to pay attention, although you will be given pointers during the mission. You will have five minuets for this and when the missions complete (after a few nice FMV's) you'll find yourself back in The Forest Owl's train. Check your GF Junctioning and before interrogating the president head back to Rinoa's room to pick up Pet Pals Vol. 2 from the nightstand, then save at the save point and talk to Rinoa.
You'll go into the joining carriage and after talking to the president you will discover that this isn't the president at all, that its a fake that you have to fight.
Boss: Fake President
Stage one of this battle: This guy is only Lvl. 8 and has 458hp so hit him with a powerful GF and he will start to smoke and turn into your next boss. This fight will be over quickly but if you like, before finishing this form off, stock a few cures to use against the next boss
Boss: Gerogero
This is stage two: This boss is also a piece of cake, he may have 3650hp but seeing as he's a zombie, using one phoenix down will annihilate him in one. However he has a few useful spells to stock on such as Esuna, Double, and Zombie so if you prefer to kill him slowly to give you chance to draw, just use Cure on him.
