Final Fantasy VIII Walkthrough – Aboard the Lunatic Pandora
When you drive into it the Ragnarok will create a hole in its defences where you can enter. Exit through the door at the back of the bridge then walk down the steps where you will be greeted by Fuijin and Raijin and.surprise surprise you'll have to fight them again.
Boss: Fuijin and Raijin Both of these character have brought their skills up a notch since Balamb town, but Fuijin is still the healer and main magic caster therefore you'll need to take her out first. They use attacks such as Meteor and Fuijin will cast Regen on Raijin if he's taken a lot of damage, this along with their constant physical attacks which can remove about 750hp. So first things first, bring out Cerberus and then triple cast protect shell and haste on the party secondly double cast reflect on them so that their curing bounces onto you then continue to physically attack them to wear them out. This battle shouldn't be too hard.
After this battle heal yourself and go down the steps, carry on into the ship then go left and down the path to the stairs where you'll find a save point. Save then go down the corridor to the left. Carry on to the end then ride the blue lift to the lobby where you'll see a Curaga draw point. Enter the green lift at the bottom and travel along the path, along the way search for a little niche to the left, which has a Speed Junction Scroll. Once you've got this item proceed down the path to the save point. Save your game then head down the remainder of the path then head north at the junction where you'll meet Fuijin and Raijin again but you won't have to fight them, instead you'll have to fight the Mobile Type 8
Boss: Mobile Type 8 Okay this beastly thing has 42,300hp and must be beaten systematically or else this fight turns into a disaster. The Mobile type 8 has two different attack positions that it will adopt during battle, which you'll need to watch for - when the two side parts split stop attacking at once as this is when the boss uses its "Super Weapon" which reduces you all to just 1hp, he follows this with a wave of attacks therefore healing yourself straight after is absolutely necessary if you want to get through this (it's a good idea to have auto-potion which will cure one character yet leave them with a turn to use for healing as well). The good thing about the probes separating however is that it no longer counter attacks you with its Homing Missile. Start the battle by using Cerberus then triple cast Regen, Protect and Shell on everyone. In your next move use Haste as pummelling the central unit in this battle is vital as the probes die when the middle dies. Use your most powerful GF's to take major damage from the middle and be sure to steal a Laser cannon, a Str Up and a Vit up from it.
After this fight continue up the path and go into the lift at the end. Raijin and Fuijin are waiting with Ellone but decide that they're going to leave Squall and Seifer to handle their problems. Squall will ask Ellone to wait for Laguna outside then Fujin and Raijin run off and leave you to it.
Boss: Seifer Fujin and Raijin aren't the only ones to step themselves up a notch, Seifer has learned a few skills from the last fight in Galbadia garden but he is fairly easy. Generally Seifer uses physical attacks but will occasionally use Firaga and Flare. Start by using Cerberus of casting Triple on everyone then triple cast Protect, Shell and Regen. Draw some Aura spells from him to stock then Draw-to-cast on yourselves to make the most out of your Limit breaks (even better if Angelo uses Invincible moon). Be sure to steal a Holy War from him before the battle is over to.
After the fight Rinoa walks away to think about the fight as its upset her a little, Seifer will get up quickly before you can get to her and take her away.
