Final Fantasy IX Elements Guide

Do you have the trouble in defeating monster which has higher experience than all your characters? How about the bosses, are they too strong for you? Well, we have the solution for you if you are facing monsters/bosses which are using "Elements" as both their attacking and defensive main point.

Fire Elements » Ice/Undead Monsters/Bosses
Water Elements » Fire Monsters/Bosses
Wind Elements » Flying Monsters/Bosses
Earth Elements « Flying Monsters/Bosses
Holy Elements » Shadow Monsters/Bosses
Shadow Elements » Holy Monsters/Bosses
Thunder Elements » In/Near Water Monsters/Bosses
Ice Elements » Fire/Dragon/Insects/Giants Monsters/Bosses

» - Effective
« - Ineffective

Monsters/Bosses which hit you using their claws or any parts of their bodies are not affected when you use Elemental attack towards them, it will still reduce their HP though. Attacks which do not use Elements are called Non-Elemental Attack.
