Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings Summoning Espers

Summoning Gates
You can summon espers by tapping a friendly summoning gate, then select "Summon". After that, assign the esper to a group leader and pick the esper you want to summon. Note that group leaders need not be near a gate to call forth an esper.

Blue summoning gates are friendly ones, meaning it belongs to you. Gray gates are neutral gates, which must be captured before they can be used. Red summoning gates belong to the enemy, but can be captured to turn them into friendly gates.

To capture a gate, simply select some group leaders and tap the gate. Your units will start the capture process when they reach the gate. The more units you send, the faster the capture process.

The Ring of Pacts
This option allows you to obtain new espers in exchange for auracites. You have to meet the required amount of auracites in order to recruit a particular esper. The ones you can forge pacts with are highlighted with glowing yellow rings. Select one of such orbs and choose "Enlist", to have the esper join you.

Esper Troupes
You must assign your new espers to a troupe before you can summon them during missions. To put an esper in a troupe, pick "Espers" option from the main menu screen, or the pre-mission setup screen. Then select a troupe and tap "Modify". Next, pick an empty slot at the bottom of the touch screen, then select the Nature of the esper. Once done, you should see the icon of your new esper in one of the tables, depending on its type. Just tap the esper's icon twice to include it in the troupe.
